Burgundy Gerbera Daisies

Burgundy Gerbera Daisies are grown fresh on Californian soil, with incredibly vast bloom sizes and extraordinary colors, shown with durable stems and a hardy bloom, and finally an extensively long vase life. A blackish center bulb compliments the darker tones of the rest of the flower with a profound sensuality to it, rimmed with a shorter, feathery touch of the red petals extending out further. This ring also shows with a few speckling tints of white, allowing a twist that allows color to bring about more texture to the gerbera. From this ring extend the red wine-colored petals, immaculate as they weave in and out of each other. This gerbera has a specific flow to it, one that makes it stunning at corporate parties, outdoor events, or weddings.

Before shipping your flowers, we prepared them for their journey with proper hydration methods. If your flowers appear sleepy and thirsty after their journey it is absolutely NORMAL. Just follow these simple steps and your flowers will bloom delightfully.

  1. Fill containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water.
  2. Remove flowers from box by cutting any straps and also remove all paper and plastic sleeves covering the flowers.
  3. Cut stems diagonally at least an inch from the bottom.
  4. Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the prepared water.
  5. Allow flowers at least 4 hours to hydrate well.
  6. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat.
  7. Gerbera stems have a tendency to get blocked with bacteria which causes flowers to wilt prematurely. To prevent premature wilting make sure to change water every 1-2 days.
  8. Assure that your flowers have sufficient water. Gerber Daisies will drink an exceptionally large amount of water upon arrival.
  9. Keep Gerberas away from fruits, vegetables and/or plants which produce ethylene Gas. Ethylene in the surrounding area could cause your Gerberas to mature faster.
** If your flowers have flower nets on the bloom, you may leave these on while hydrating.
** Gerberas have heavy blooms it is important to hydrate the stems upright or in the direction you want the bloom to face.
