Bohemian Trend Wedding Inspiration

written by Thalia February 5, 2018

If you’re a free spirit who loves to play with color, patterns and textures then a bohemian wedding is for you! Bohemian weddings have gain popularity over time and will continue to be trendy this year. In every boho wedding, you’ll notice other styles being added to the mix from bohemian rustic to bohemian glam. You’ll also notice this style is very versatile and can be enhanced in many ways to fit the couple’s personalities.

Boho weddings can be laid-back, intimate, ethereal and sometimes, non-traditional. They often include earthy aesthetics and handmade elements. Some of the most popular decors include macramé backdrops, mix and match chairs, colorful wildflowers and minimalistic centerpieces. Boho weddings often have flowers such as air plants, baby eucalyptus, protea, garden roses and other beautiful flowers. Most of the time, the arrangements are very whimsical, multi-colored, and beautifully unkempt.

As for the wedding attire, you’ll see the bride wearing light and airy styles with special details like lace and bell sleeves. You’ll notice the hair and makeup are kept very minimal yet beautiful. For example, braids and loose waves accompanied by flower crowns or other hair accessories. As for the men, their style is very relaxed and informal for example, suspenders with a chambray shirt or a white shirt with a contrasting floral tie.

Check out some beautiful boho-inspired weddings below. Enjoy!
