I came across this bouquet a little while ago and immediately saved the photo to my computer desktop. I just love the blend of textures and the beautiful dusty lavender & blush color palette. I’m also realizing that I’m a sucker for any arrangement that includes Astrantia–it’s so delightfully unique!
This particular bouquet was featured in a post on Flowerona (click to see more), and frankly the entire wedding is worth taking a look at. From the impossibly chic old brick building where the reception was held, to the varying unique centerpieces on each table, this is an event you’re going to want to try and imitate! We may not be able to score you that awesome vintage Jaguar parked in the venue’s driveway, but we can give you a little help in emulating the bridal bouquet. Scroll on for our cheat sheet!
This bouquet could be recreated using the following flowers: Ocean Song Lavender Rose, Nigella, Pinky Lavender Astrantia, Amnesia Lavender Rose, Blush Peonies, Tree Fern, and Wax Flower. It also looks like they used some Brachyglottis greenery in there, which could be subbed for Lamb’s Ear (if you want that velvety texture) or Gunnii Eucalyptus (if you want the silvery-green color).
From Flowerona’s blog post, I learned that the flower arranging was done by Shrinking Violet Floral Design and the lovely photos were snapped by Jemma Watts of Pearl Pictures. Excellent work all around!
