What holiday is just as important as Valentine’s Day? Galentine’s Day of course! In the wise words of Leslie Knope, it’s about “ladies celebrating ladies”, coming together and making a ceremony out of your friendship. One of the BEST ways we have found to celebrate this year is by hosting your gal pals with a Make Your Own Bouquet Flower Bar!
The great thing about a flower bar is that it’s not just for G-Day. A flower bar can entertain guests at your Bridal or Baby Shower, your Bridal Tea, or any brunch you’re looking to incorporate flowers and have your guests take home with them.
Flower Bars are easy when you purchase one of the many different styles of Combo Boxes that FiftyFlowers offers. A combo box will come with 1 bunch of roughly 3-5 different types of flowers and/or greenery. You will find most boxes come with a thriller, spiller, and filler. The thriller is considered your focal WOW flower, like a rose of protea. The spiller is going to add texture and depth to the bouquet or arrangement. An example of a spiller flower is hanging amaranthus. And, finally, the DIY Combo Box includes a filler. , The filler is going to help fill in the negative space between everything in your bouquet, giving it that rich full appearance. An example of the filler is baby’s breath or waxflower. You can also pick and choose the exact product that you would like to use, if there isn’t a combo box with your desired flowers and greens.
Designing flowers with your friends and family is a wonderful bonding experience. If it’s your first-time designing flowers, I guarantee there will be no shortage of laughter and giggling. Your gal pals will be able to give pointers and advice because no one person designs the same. I have done these a few times with my girlfriends for the holidays, and every year they ask when I am hosting a flower design night again.
Check out these awesome pictures to see how easy and affordable it is to host your flower event with a build your bouquet bar using whatever color your heart desires. Design a bouquet after your favorite signature cocktail, or practice making your wedding bouquets, or later gift your bouquets to a senior home or local hospital. Once you know the joy of designing your bouquets, sharing that joy with others is the next best thing!
