If you’re looking for a classic combination for your wedding color palette, look no further than deep eggplant purple & ivory. There’s a reason that dark purple is associated with royalty, it’s elegant and rich and pairs really nicely with bridal ivory white. But with Spring right around the corner, I thought I’d highlight a way to spice up this color scheme with splashes of leafy, spring green! We’ve had a few DIY brides who have opted for this palette with beautiful results. One recent flower story to check out for some inspiration is this Coastal Cape Cod Wedding submitted by Leesa Burke. For her daughter’s wedding, Leesa chose Purple Trachelium, Purple-Hued Succulents, and Dark Eggplant Mini Callas for the purple component of their arrangements, White Freesia and the ever-popular Vendela Ivory Roses as the creamy white component, then added in Anastasia Spider Mums and the Classic Greenery Wedding Combo for the pops of green!
