There are many ways you can use floral hoop wreaths at your wedding or any other special event. Whether it be a bouquet alternative, decorative chair decor or used as a centerpiece, this floral hoop can be used in many ways.
We kept it simple and used fresh greenery and gold accents for this look, but you could add your choice of flowers to take it up a notch.
Here’s everything you need to recreate this floral hoop wreath:
- 7 stems of victorian lace greenery
- 12″ gold ring
- 10″ gold ring
- floral shears
- wire or floral tape
- decorative ribbon
1. Prep Your Wholesale Greenery
To create a DIY floral hoop wreath, start by trimming off the excess stem. Make sure to also trim a few sprigs of greenery, these can be sure to fill out any sparse spots. Then trim a few stems of wire ahead of time as well.
2. Secure the Stems
Pick out a lush stem of greenery to start off with. Wrap the wire around the victorian lace stem to secure it into place.
3. Layer Your Greenery
Once you have one stem tightly secured, layer in another stem of greenery facing the same direction and be sure to hide any stems.
4. Layer the Greenery Going the Opposite Direction
Repeat the steps above and layer your greenery in the opposite direction.
5. Add the Finishing Touches
Add your choice of ribbon to finish off the look! You could also add in a decorative sign as well. We used floral wire on each end to secure the Bride sign.
Bonus: Use this floral wreath hoop as a centerpiece for a simple, yet elegant look!
