It is always a treat when photographers share their photos with us that feature our flowers! Jon and Lauren Wickersheim are a husband and wife duo who specialize in wedding and portrait photography. We couldn’t wait to see the photos when they told us they’d share their gallery with us! On Thursday, May 11th, 2017 Michala and Noah tied the knot and their wedding was both beautiful and elegant especially, the bridal bouquet. The arrangement featured Baby Eucalyptus, Cordyline, and Israeli Ruscus. As for the filler flowers, this bouquet included Baby’s Breath and Curly Willow. The Bridal Piano Peony Rose was the focal flower, which is full of petals and resembles a peony (hence the name). My favorite part about her bouquet was the mix of buds and blooms. The ball-shaped rose buds mixed in with the arrangements added beauty and texture.

“The classics brought these two together – Michala asked Noah to a banquet using a Jane Austen theme, and he accepted. Their friendship continued for the next year, but after Noah’s summer singing tour ended early at the same Texas camp Michala was staffing – the sparks began to fly! They each thought their interest was one sided, but after a few more months the truth came out and they began a relationship. The next summer they returned to the same camp, with Noah working as the photographer. He told Michala he wanted to climb a bluff to catch the sunrise on video, and Michala insisted that he couldn’t go alone – which was exactly what he knew she would say. He wasn’t planning to video the sunrise – he was planning to capture his proposal, which he did.” – Lauren
