Ever since I got engaged I knew I wanted a blush and burgundy color palette, but my fiance and I decided to say “I do” this spring (we originally said August). Although you mostly see pastels in the springtime, I didn’t want to switch my color palette. So yes, I am incorporating burgundy into my spring wedding. But, you know what? The best part about wedding planning is that you can do whatever you want regards of what others say because it is your day! In my opinion, the blush and burgundy combo is beyond gorgeous and there are so many decorating possibilities!
My overall flower vision includes fresh pinky-mauve flowers with pops of burgundy. The centerpieces will be a mixture of lanterns and candles, which will mostly feature fun pops of burgundy blooms. However, my reception flowers will be all-white. Our ceremony will take place at a Catholic Church so I think all-white floral arrangements would look elegant! If I had to describe my wedding in two words it would be romantic and whimsical.
