Spring is such a beautiful time to get married (and I’m not just saying that because I will be getting married in May 😉 )! One of the many perks of having a spring wedding is the fresh flowers that are in season which include peonies! We can all agree that peonies are an all-time favorite for brides-to-be! In today’s blog post, I am sharing this stunning wedding which featured white bouquets filled with hints of blush and exposed greenery. Each bouquet was delicately wrapped with gossamer adorn ribbons, which is a light and airy translucent blue silk. As for the boutonnieres, thin velvet ribbons were used to wrap each floral arrangement. The small, thoughtful details don’t stop there, the Morrisons ladies used their large collection of ginger jars, to display their floral arrangements. These porcelain jars paired effortlessly with the color palette, which was kept simple and elegant. The rest of the arrangements, there were clusters of blue and white chinoiserie vases, all of which was an eye-catching addition to the rounds tables. Long wooden tables were also used, each table featured our lush nagi, salal and cocculus greens garland. The list of all of the elegant details goes on… Be sure to check out the list of flowers she ordered as well as her wedding photos, which were beautifully captured by Shannon Kirsten Photo.
What she ordered to create their floral look: Powder Pink Garden Rose (72 stems), White Astilbe (100 stems), White Lilac (60 stems), Dusty Miller Lacy and Flat Leaf Combo Pack (20 bunches), White Ranunculus (200 stems), Queen Anne’s Lace Filler Flower (10 bunches), Larkspur Light Pink Flower (8 to 10 bunches), White Freesia Flower (80 to 100 stems), Italian Ruscus Greenery (15 bunches), Creamy White Hypericum Berries (10 bunches), Nagi, Salal and Cocculus Greens Garland (25 foot garland), and Alertie Peonies (60 stems).
