Kelly and Blake did a fantastic job of making a budget-friendly wedding look anything but. From the bride’s gorgeous consignment wedding dress to, you guessed it, making their own flower arrangements, these two found some great ways to keep the costs down without sacrificing style!
From the bride, “We did a lot of DIY projects. My favorite was the flower boxes. Blake and I got the wood from an old barn behind a house his dad had bought. My dad and I then spent an entire day building the boxes. I also sewed all of the groom and the groomsmen’s ties myself. And each table number frame, chalkboard sign, floral arrangement, were handmade by me or someone in my family.”
To create their floral arrangements, here’s what the couple ordered: Chocolate Lace Flower (5 bunches), Blush Peonies (100 stems), Cream Carnations (150 stems), Light Pink Spray Roses (Medium Pack), Vendela Ivory Roses (100 stems), Light Pink Roses (100 stems). It looks like they also supplemented their flowers with some Leather Leaf Greenery and Leyland Cedar Greenery. Scroll on for the lovely photos captured by Jessi Nichols Photography…
