I recently came across a few pictures from a Spring Flower Arranging Party that our flowers were a part of last year, and since it’s Thursday, and Spring, I thought it would be a good time to do a throwback post. So, if you want a fun Springtime activity to do with friends and family or if you need an excuse to get some flower arranging practice in, I highly suggest you throw a Spring Flower Party!
There are a couple ways do this… You could host the party and supply all the flowers yourself (which is what Chelsea, of Frolic, did and is shown below) or you could host a flower potluck, in which you ask each guest to bring a bunch or two of flowers…their choice. Then, when everyone comes together, you should have a nice selection of beautiful blooms for your guests to choose from!
But, anyways, let’s get back to Chelsea’s Party… Chelsea ordered Assorted Colored Ranunculus and the White Blooming Spring Combo Pack, which came with an assortment of Stock, Larkspur, Wax Flower, Queen Anne’s Lace, Bells of Ireland, Bupleurum Greens and Myrtle Greens, from FiftyFlowers.com. She then also picked up some local Spring blooms to add to the mix.
Take a look at some of the photos of the party, taken by Lisa Warninger…
Doesn’t it look like so much fun?! I mean, who wouldn’t want to play with pretty flowers for a day?!
When you start planning your Spring Flower Party, be sure to check out our Flower Combos, which give you a fun selection of flowers all in one box!
