A Little Bit Boho And A Whole Lotta Autum Color
Kara Whitehouse (Bride) FLORISSANT, MO
My (now) husband and I have been together over 7 years. We have 2 incredible kiddos and we tried to have a wedding ceremony 2 times before our October 26, 2019 wedding. When we made the decision in April 2019 to go ahead and have a wedding, we knew we wanted it to be in the fall and to do it as big as we could even though it was on our own dime. The most important things to me where 1) having our entire support squad (friends and family) there to celebrate; 2)having it at our church; and 3)having a TON of flowers.
With a little under 6 months to plan, I immediately began finding inspiration photos and speaking with FiftyFlowers reps to help me figure out this process. The FiftyFlowers team
is AMAZING! They were incredibly helpful and patient as I gathered ideas and created our flower budget. I am blessed to live in St. Louis so I ended up getting most of our flowers from a local wholesale shop, however FiftyFlowers was my go-to for creating my vision and figuring out numbers, and specific stems, as well as ordering my "have to have" and "hard to find" flowers: Chocolate Ranunculus, which I couldn't get them anywhere else-- my local shop had never even see them! FiftyFlowers did NOT disappoint! They came on time, beautiful, and hydrated well. I also ordered (in a separate order) the Garden Rose Variety pack of 24. The ivory peony roses were absolutely stunning and smelled AMAZING!
All in all, I created 8 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, 12 large table centerpieces, 24 small table centerpieces for a cocktail hour, the arbor, and several small floral pieces across our church. I had the incredible floral-filled wedding of my dreams and FiftyFlowers is absolutely my recommendation for flower projects!
Flowers Used and available from FiftyFlowers include: burgundy carnations, chocolate ranunculus, ivory peony garden rose, sunrise red poms, bronze football mums, fall ornamental grasses, red hanging amaranthus, bronze amaranthus, Ivendela ivory roses, black bacarra roses, blue thistle, seeded eucalytpus, bronze chrysanthemums, blue eucalyptus, and italian ruscus.
