A Rainbow in the Texas Hill Country

A rainbow themed wedding is a dream for flower lovers!! We are still waiting on the professional photos, but a few phone snapshots can show what a lovely, bright, and cheerful event that was my big sister's wedding. Using sunflowers, daisies, mums, and alstroemeria as the main flowers, I was able to create a full flower garland and 50 centerpieces that met the bride's wishes for rustic, country, rainbow decor and budget. More daisies, alstroemeria, and carnations made up the bridesmaids bouquets, the boutonnieres, and the Mom's corsages. The most fun was the bride's bouquet, starting with brick red Peruvian lilies and blending into each color of the rainbow, ending with a deep purple passion alstroemeria. My sister said that the flowers were her favorite part of the wedding, other than marrying the love of her life, of course. I am so proud of my sister and of what I was able to create for her on her special day. The team at FiftyFlowers.com were so helpful and attentive, the flowers were beautiful and in great condition, I couldn't have pulled it off without them (and my lovely family who helped assemble late into the night).
