A Romantic Summer Camp Weddding

We love to be outdoors and camp together, so we decided to have our wedding at a science summer camp center. All the profits went to science education for children, which made our wedding all the sweeter!

No one in my bridal party had any experience with flowers, but everyone dove right in, and I am so so happy with the results! I had 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and myself working on the flowers the day before the wedding. It was a fun experience to have us all working together on a project, and I loved seeing the creative side of all of the ladies in my life.

We made the large arrangement that you can see on the wedding arch (which we then put on our sweetheart table for the reception), around ten centerpieces, all of our bouquets, small posies for the ceremony chairs, boutonnieres for 5 groomsmen, groom, and fathers, and small posies for around the food and the cocktail hour tables.

After we had done the most challenging things- the large arch arrangement and the bouquets, I realized I had forgotten the flowers along the aisle! And I had a rehearsal dinner to get to! My mom and my sister, neither of whom have any interest in any crafts, quickly threw together a small posy for every aisle chair, and I'm amazed at how beautiful they look!

My bridal bouquet was prettier than I could have imagined, and I think the peach stock was really the key to adding depth and interest to the overall shape. Also- you can never have enough greens. We ordered another box of mixed greens in addition to this order, which really helped all the flowers stretch further.

I never could have had as many gorgeous flowers as I did at my wedding without doing them myself.I am just overjoyed with how they turned out, and my wedding was a dream come true.
