A Wild and Wonderful Flower Story

No event is complete without some kind of floral decor, and I was absolutely elated to create the floral arrangement centerpieces with the Kanawha Garden Club for the West Virginia Land Trust Special Places Celebration, the annual gala event for the non-profit organization in Charleston, WV that works to conserve scenic, wildlife, botanical, and recreational areas throughout the state of West Virginia. The theme of the event was farm-to-table, and I was so excited to design florals that would capture the wild and wonderful ambiance of nature. The incredible variety of florals and greenery from Fifty Flowers was essential in creating the atmosphere for the event. My floral selections included vivid and bright blooms: coral sherbet big fun rose, orange hybrid lilies, yellow alstroemeria flowers. The event featured 15 low centerpieces and 19 tall centerpieces. I designed 10 low pieces the day before the event, and the Kanawha Garden Club members, whose fabulous floral creativity and expertise created 19 gorgeous tall centerpieces and 5 low centerpieces in just 4 hours on the morning of the event!! It was quite a floral extravaganza!! We had a great time working with such amazing high-quality flowers and greenery. The colors were spectacular. The flowers arrived on time and in good condition. The floral concierge was very attentive with answering specific questions about our orders. Our designs featured the following items from Fifty Florals, tropical greenery including, pink passion tropical centerpiece, monstera leaves, phoenix palms filler, pink watermelon lilies, tropical greenery centerpieces, twister pink and yellow alstroemeria flower, and the coral sherbet big fun rose, which was a favorite by all!!!
