I had the honor of being the planner, decorator, and florist for my daughter's wedding. We knew from the beginning that we would be doing a lot of DIY projects in order to pull off the wedding of her dreams on a limited budget. Doing the flowers ourselves was a given and I quickly found Fifty Flowers on the web and fell in love with the variety and beautiful pictures on the site. I had never arranged flowers before but I watched a lot of videos and did some practice runs and felt confident that I could pull it off. We wanted a Winter feel/theme without being overly Christmas like. We used lots of Leyland cypress and Italian Ruscus from Fifty Flowers for everything from wreaths and garlands to centerpieces and bouquets then added in some frosty pine cones, pheasant feathers and dried hydrangeas to go with the beautiful Amnesia roses and black bacarra roses. Everything arrived on time and in excellent shape. We had family and friends help and even the groom pitched in stripping and prepping the roses. It all came out better than anticipated and I plan on using Fifty Flowers for my younger daughter's wedding in the future!
