Chelsea + Jacob's Farmhouse Wedding

The theme for our wedding was classic and simple with a touch of modern. Our colors were white and champagne. We used different shaded and sizes of white, off-white and champagne roses as a base for all of our arrangements and added texture with ranunculus, sweet peas and garden roses. Our diy arch was the showcase of our wedding. With tons of research we decided to go with acacia as our base with roses and stock flower throughout and boy was that the way to go! It turned out better than I imagined. In order to keep our flowers in tip top shape before the wedding we kept them in 5 gallon paint buckets in cold water (sometimes adding ice) in a dark room with the ac as cold as it would go. With an army of family members instructed by my talented aunt Becky and two full days of work we completed 41 centerpieces, 11 bouquets, 16 boutonnieres, 2 flower crowns, 2 flower puppy collars and 4 mini bouquets for the mothers/ grandmothers. The day of the wedding a few bridesmaids and family members knocked out the arch in 30 minutes time. I have always dreamed of having a wedding overflowing with flowers but knew it would never be in the budget to pay a florist to carry out my vision. With the help of fiftyflower, I was able to have the wedding I always dreamed of.
