Classic Botanical Elegance Dream Come True

Kimberly Cervantes (Bride) BURLINGTON, NC
I consider myself to be a practical gal and knew that throughout the wedding planning process, certain things would fall outside of our budget range. The one thing I was set on, however, was the fact that I NEEDED real flowers and greenery at my wedding and reception. The thought of using fake flowers felt like I was getting cheated a little. I know they last longer...but I wanted to be able to smell the flowers and eucalyptus throughout the night, cementing it in my memories. I wanted a mix of large blooms mixed with a variety of eucalyptus. I bought a box of 125 white roses from BJ's, the Extra Large pack of Eucalyptus mix, and 20 bunches of the silver dollar eucalyptus for good measure. I ... was so skeptical about how big or little the bunches would be when they arrived because they are based on weight. Friend, let me tell you, IT WILL BE ENOUGH! I am happy to say that it was plenty for my wedding party, the ceremony and the reception decoration. The night before the wedding we had an all hands on deck bouquet bash, and we created all of the bouquets, wreaths, and boutonnieres. Wendy at FiftyFlowers was my designated CSR, and she was wonderful. She texted me immediately once I placed my order, and again when my flowers were delivered to make sure that everything arrived in good condition! I was very impressed, and definitely, recommend Fiftyflowers to all DIY savvy brides-to-be! Show more

Eucalyptus Greenery for Weddings
Used for: Centerpieces , Bridal Bouquet, Bridesmaid's Bouquets , Boutonnieres, Other

I was so excited for this box, and nervous that it wouldn't be enough for my wedding party and the reception. It ended up being more than enough. The baby eucalyptus was so cute, and it looked lovely. However, it was a lot stickier to work with than I imagined. It coated our fingers so badly, scrubbing with a kitchen sponge and soap was still not enough to remove the sap. We created wreaths for the flower girls and helpers to wear in their hair. It was perfect! The seeded eucalyptus was so beautiful! I loved the tinge of lavender it had, and it gave all of the bouquets such great variety in texture! The silver dollar eucalyptus was so full it made all of the bouquets and centerpieces fill out and it draped beautifully.Truly a wonderful mix of eucalyptus!

SO full, big, bushy, and ended up being my favorite for bouquets! A little went such a long way, and it smelled heavenly!
