My now-husband Connor and I had been together for 4 years (2 spent long distance) before we were able to get married. Even though we were still college students, we decided there was no reason for us to be apart anymore and we decided to just get hitched! Because we were students, from the beginning we were on a tight budget for our wedding and knew that we would be doing most things ourselves.
