June Wedding

Stephanie Starnes (Bride) SAN ANGELO, TX
This was my first attempt at DIY flower bouquets/arrangements/boutonnieres, etc. I got way more for my money going this route and it felt like I had so many more options than going to a florist. I loved looking through other couple's wedding stories on and that really helped me decide on what colors and what flowers I wanted. It was a TON of work doing this, and my wedding was very small. I only had to make two bouquets and I did minimal work for the "arrangements" (I just stuck a couple flowers in bud vases). I made the pergola decoration using greenery I found in my yard (my husband didn't appreciate the holes in the bushes in our front yard) but our wallet did! Then I stuck ... that greenery with leftover flowers and it looked beautiful. The 3 days before my wedding was consumed with getting, preparing, rehydrating, arranging, and rearranging the flowers and then figuring out how to transport my final products to the venue. I loved how it all turned out and was very happy with the whole process! There were a couple times the shipping information told me the flowers were coming late, but the customer service team was very easy to get in contact with and very reassuring that everything would work out...and it did! Flowers Used for Stephanie Starnes's Arrangements

Larkspur White Flower ( 5 Bunches )

Used for: Other, Bridesmaid's Bouquets , Bridal Bouquet

They were pretty but very delicate so I didn’t use very many. The petals were constantly flaking off. It may have been too hot for them - it was 107 degrees on our wedding day!

Used for: Bridal Bouquet, Bridesmaid's Bouquets

These arrived one day late (on Friday for my Saturday wedding). It was 105-107 degrees outside after they arrived so I just stuck them outside in some water and they open up perfectly. So so elegant, loved these flowers. They look just like the pictures online.

Used for: Centerpieces , Bridal Bouquet, Bridesmaid's Bouquets

These were a little disappointing. They seemed very delicate; several stems drooped in half throughout the rehydration/opening up process. I may not have cared for them properly but tried to follow directions closely. I even wrapped some stems with floral wire and the heads still drooped. There were too many yellow colored flowers, I mainly used the more pink hued varieties. They never really opened up to their potential either, but some did look very pretty in the bouquets. For the price it was disappointment how many I actually used versus the ones I didn't like or the ones that died.

Used for: Centerpieces , Boutonnieres

These took a long time to open up, but once they did they were pretty! The outside petals have a yellow tint to them, but the insides are a nice soft pink. Used in the pergola decoration, boutonnieres, and random centerpieces.
