Nervous at first, but worth it in the end!

Like many, I was INCREDIBLY nervous to order flowers online. I am a perfectionist to the max, and the thought of having dead flowers show up at my door terrified me. After reading a lot of reviews, however, I decided to bite the bullet and give it a shot, and I am so glad I did. There were a few things that went wrong, but FiftyFlowers' customer service was wonderful to work with. For example, the week of the wedding, they called me and told me the Peachy Cantaloupe flowers weren't looking good and I'd have to substitute them. I decided to switch them out for the Garden Rose Romantic Antique Pink. Again, I was really nervous about this decision, because in some pictures, they looked almost brownish, but mine turned out beautiful. Because the antique pink was more pink then peach, I ended up going to the grocery store and buying a dozen or so peach roses to put in the bouquets too.

When the flowers all arrived, they were all sleepy (which they said to expect). I put them all in water, and before long, they were back to life. I ordered white ranunculus for the boutonnieres, centerpieces, and bouquets and they were BEAUTIFUL! The Garden Rose Romantic Antique Pink arrived, also sleepy, but they too opened up. However, 3 stems were broken, so I called Fifty Flowers and they issued me a refund for those stems. The only "flower" that didn't 100% live up to my expectations was the dusty miller. I may have not stored it properly, but by about 4:00 or 5:00 on the day of the wedding, they were getting really droopy. The sweet peas and the french pink mini roses were gorgeous, and they were so fragrant.

Total, I ended up making 25 boutonnieres, 30 centerpieces, 7 bouquets, and using some of the flowers for the cake. We had so many flowers, and total I spent less than $800. Had we ordered all of these through a florist, we would have literally spent thousands. I am so glad we decided to go with Fifty Flowers...highly recommended!
