Romantic Baby's Breath - Peach & Navy Wedding

Sarah Sledgeski (Bride) Oak Ridge, NJ
From the first stages of wedding planning, I knew that I wanted baby's breath to be the flower of my wedding. Baby's Breath EVERYWHERE. I loved the simple, romantic, and slightly rustic style it gave off. With such a simple flower and being a crafty person, I thought that I could definitely arrange everything myself, it was just a matter of finding a supplier that I could trust with one of the most important days of my life. When I found fiftyflowers, I read through literally hundreds of reviews, then made the decision that I would order my flowers through them. When the flowers arrived, everything looked very healthy. I followed the instructions provided (and the ones I found online) very ... closely. Within hours, both the baby's breath and the roses that were used for my bridal bouquet had gotten even bigger and better looking! Over the next few days, the flowers continued to puff up. With the help of my mom, my maid of honor, and my aunts, we put together all of the flowers for our wedding. They were absolutely stunning! I couldn't be happier with the results. The flowers filled our wedding day with the exact style we were hoping for. Thank you fiftyflowers for providing an affordable alternative to florists for people who are capable of creating their own arrangements. Show more

Flowers Used for Sarah Sledgeski's Arrangements

Beautiful! These roses were absolutely gorgeous. The color was a perfect peachy pink. They made the perfect "only roses" bridal bouquet!

Used for: Centerpieces , Bridesmaid's Bouquets , Boutonnieres, Other

I was skeptical about ordering all of my flowers online and having them delivered, but it was one of the best decisions of my wedding! The new love baby's breath was absolutely beautiful! I purchased 40 bunches, as it was my only flower. I made 15 large puffy centerpieces, 4 large bridesmaids bouquets, 1 large toss bouquet, one 10-foot puffy garland, 6 boutonnieres, lines the aisle of our church with 30 bunches on the pews, and had it in smaller vases randomly around my venue. Even with all of that, I still had 2 huge buckets of baby's breath remaining! I needed five 5-gallon buckets per 20 bunches. When the flowers arrived, they looked healthy and strong, but not yet puffed up. With a few hours, they had gotten huge, and continued to grow over the next few days! They were absolutely beautiful, and took over our whole basement. I've heard people complain of a bad smell with baby's breath but we did not experience that. There was a light sweet smell, but nothing overpowering. Overall, I highly recommend this new love baby's breath. It was breath taking and romantic.
