Shire Wedding

Noelle Mallory (Bride) LEVERING, MI
My husband and I have been best friends since we were ten, when he slipped me a note in the grass and started giving me necklaces of butterflies and mermaids. We've had our ups and downs, but Tanner tells the story every chance he can get about how he went home at fourteen and told his mother that he was going to marry me someday. It finally started to become a reality on his birthday of 2016, when we went to an art exhibit and his painting was hanging on the wall: "Check yes or no." When I turned around, he was on his knee and our families were jumping out behind sculptures and corners to snap photos. As we were planning our wedding, we wanted it to be a stress-less event that showcased who ... we are as people. We wanted to look like woodland hobbits, we wanted to be frugal, and we wanted to do as much as we could ourselves. That's why I was pretty determined for my bridesmaids, my sisters, and me to make our own bouquets according to our tastes. I'm so glad we decided to go that way and I would recommend it to anyone else, as it was actually really easy and fun and cut down on costs. All we used were scissors and floral tape, and we cut and displayed everything in the way that we wanted. So many people didn't believe our flowers were real because of the pure beauty of them! I couldn't imagine going any other way for our flowers than FiftyFlowers, as the customer service was excellent and the flowers were top quality. They exceeded every expectation I had, we still get compliments on them, and they made for lovely photos. Show more

I was so impressed by the quality and vibrancy of these roses; they had such variety of shades in apricots and bright oranges and reddish oranges, which gave the perfect moody autumn vibe that I was looking for. My main thing that I wanted for both my wedding and reception was an abundance of floral, so I was worried about having not enough roses. But we had all the roses to spare - my bouquet got to be as vibrant and large as I wanted it to be and I didn't have to limit my bridesmaids to only having a few in theirs as we made them. My mother and father in law primarily decorated the ceremony site, and I was blown away by how beautiful roses looked in their hanging gardens and wine bottle pumpkins.

The estelle filler flowers achieved exactly what I had hoped - texture with an added depth in color. They were dainty to match the roses, but created a sense of unity with the eucalyptus because of their similar balance. All in all, they brought all the flowers together how I wanted them to and were just a beautiful color. The only reason I didn't give them a straight 5 stars was because they stained our hands when we were removing them from boxes, so a few days later when we were arranging bouquets we were really scared they would dye our hands or dresses. (They didn't, though.)

Nothing on this planet can describe how much I absolutely adored the eucalyptus in this package. The seeded eucalyptus added so much texture, the baby eucalyptus added such a soft nice tone, and the silver dollar gave height and shape to our bouquets. Plus, it smelled SO GOOD. I wanted to create a moody autumn vibe that reminisced a woodland elves and hobbits, so the greenery was super important to me. It was perfect, and we had so much to spare that we could basically add it anywhere we wanted. We ended up twining it around our teepee-arch at the ceremony, which was such an amazing touch. I dried my bouquet after the wedding, and two months later the eucalyptus in it still smells heavenly.
