Each rose features one flower bloom.
Tinted Roses have an average bloom height of 1.5 to 2.5 inches when fully closed and bloomed it will be similar in height. Bloom width, once bloomed, will range from 2 to 3.5 inches in width.
Tinted Roses will have an average aperture of 80% and to achieve a 100% aperture the bloom may require special techniques.
Tinted Roses have an average of 35 petals per bloom.
Tinted Roses are shipped with 25 stems per bunch and are bundled together by a rubber band. Within each bunch, the Roses are packed in two layers to ensure protection during shipping. From the top angle, it will appear that you only have 12 stems in the bunch; however, below this layer there is a second layer containing the remaining 13 roses.
Stem length will range from 12 inches to 23.5 inches.
Expected vase life is an average minimum of 4 days.
Rainbow Roses are intravenously tinted. The tint will NOT rub off of the petals; however, the color may seep where stems are cut or leaves are torn from the stem, especially when wet. Temporarily stains hands, so wear gloves. May stain clothing.
The colors included in this tinted Rose may vary to some degree. Flowers react differently to tints. Some petals may not absorb the tint 100% and the color may be darker on some petals than on others. The color may also appear stronger when the Rose first arrives, but will lessen in intensity after it is fully bloomed.
The tint will dye the leaves and the leaves may prematurely crisp we suggest removing the leaves.
We ship our Roses in bud form. Once the Rose is hydrated, the bloom will open to a much larger size.

This flower is intravenously tinted using a white flower as the base. Our post harvest team will place the bottom of the stem into concentrated dyed water. This allows the flower stem to “drink up” the colored water tinting the bloom to the desired color. The tint will not rub off from the surface of the petals. However, the color may seep from: where stems are cut, leaves are removed from the stem, or flower petals that are torn especially when wet. This may temporarily stains hands, so wear gloves when processing and designing with these blooms. This dye most likely will stain clothing.

Bulk Roses are shipped directly from our Ecuadorian or partner flower farms without water tubes. Before shipping your flowers, we prepare them for their journey with proper hydration methods. If your flowers appear sleepy and thirsty after their journey, it is absolutely NORMAL. Just follow these simple steps and the flowers will bloom delightfully.
Remove flowers from box by cutting any straps. Do not remove the cardboard sleeve or the rubber bands holding the flowers together in a bunch. However, do remove an excess packaging including any plastic wrapping in order to prevent condensation which will cause rotting.
Fill containers with at least 4 inches of fresh, cool water.
Add floral food to prevent bacteria from forming in the water and to give added nutrients to the Roses. If you do not have flower food, it can be purchased at any local florist.
Remove any leaves that fall below the water line. Not removing the leaves may cause bacteria to form and shorten the Rose's life.
Using sharp scissors or a knife, cut the stems diagonally under running water approximately one inch from each stem's bottom edge. Wear gloves while preparing the flowers, as the tint may seep from the stem and temporarily stain hands and/or clothing.
Immediately after cutting, place the stems in the prepared water.
Allow flowers at least 4 hours to hydrate well. Roses may take up to 12 hours to properly hydrate. Leave the plastic or cardboard packaging around the blooms for a minimum of 4 hours. This will allow the Roses sufficient time to hydrate properly.
Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat.
To keep the Roses fresh, change the water every 24 to 48 hours or when the water becomes cloudy. Expect for the water color to change because of the tint. This is normal. Simply change water as directed to keep flowers fresh. Also, assure that your flowers have sufficient water. The flowers will drink an exceptionally large amount of water upon arrival.
We ship our Roses with guard petals in order to protect the blooms during shipping. Upon removal of the protective packaging, remove any brown or discolored guard petals. It is not uncommon to remove an average of 5 to 10 petals per bloom.
Remember that exposing Roses to warmer environments (outside, a hot room, etc) will help the flower bloom, and storing your Roses in a cooler environment will slow down the opening process.
