A Charming New Years Eve Wedding

Brandt and Kelsey are the perfect story of friendship becoming love. They met in Scottsdale, Arizona and after some persuasion, she found herself smitten! He followed her up to school in Idaho where they grew closer and before they knew it he was down on one knee in front of a gorgeous waterfall asking her to be his wife. Their love is the kind of love that people write books about. You can feel their chemistry by the way they look at each other! Their wedding day encapsulated this love and was perfect in every aspect of the word. They were married in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and twinkling Christmas lights. They followed that with a breath-taking reception held at the home of a family friend. It was quaint, beautiful, and truly a representation of who they had become as a couple. A large spread of food welcomed the hungry guests, served by one of Arizona's biggest up and coming catering companies, Gourmet Girls Catering. The dessert table nearly flowed over with cupcakes made by the bride's grandmother. Your mouth would water just looking at them! They slow danced to a song sung by one of the groom's closest high school friends (Jessi Yanovitch Proffitt) and this unique touch melted the hearts of all of those that watched. And of course it would not have been a wedding if there hadn't been a cake–one made by the bride, of course–topped with a chocolate "Mr. & Mrs." The elegant and intimate details covered the entire reception, making this one of the most special weddings I have ever had the pleasure of attending. Its charm left the guests speechless as they sent the bride and groom off to their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic and welcomed in the new year with a sparkler exit that left me in tears.
