As the Mother of the Groom, I pulled double duty. Not only did I make all of the arrangements for the wedding, I had to decorate for the rehearsal dinner. I did cheat a bit. I used mason jar arrangements for the centerpieces at the rehearsal dinner and reused them on shepherd's hooks down the isle and around the path at the wedding. My daughter-in-law had picked out basically what she wanted, and Fifty Flowers and I took it from there, however, I had to pull 2 all nighters! The venue was gorgeous in itself with the mountains of NC framing everything. When we added the flowers and decor, wow, just wow! My crowning glory was when my daughter-in-law pulled me aside at the reception and said "You made my fairytale come true"! At that moment, it was all worth it. With tears streaming down my face, I just hugged my new daughter.
