As high school sweethearts who dated for 8 years before we got engaged, from the second we started planning our wedding we new it needed to be a unique as us. We didn't want the men to wear suits, the bridesmaids and maids of honor to wear matching dresses, to have a traditional flower girl and ring bearer, or for the wedding dress to be white. Initially, we were looking for a place in the woods to have the ceremony, but when we found Ramsey Golf and Country Club, it was the most perfect place. It had a real life fairy tale feel, which is when we decided to used this to mold the style of our wedding. With the ceremony outside we wanted a very organic feel and with the reception in the stone castle, we wanted an antique, abandoned castle look.
For the bridal party flowers, the Wildflower Wedding DIY Combo Box and Classic Wedding Greenery Combo Box were great. The different colors and shapes that came in the wildflower box were perfect. Each of the bridesmaids and maids of honor had different floral patterned dress and I wanted the flowers to complement each of their dresses uniquely and the greenery box added amazing finishing touches to each of the bouquets. As my dress was a dusty rose gold I wanted to make sure there was a flower I could just for the majority of my bouquet to match it. That is where the Peachy Pink Cottage Yarrow Flowers came in. They were amazing! Unfortunately I did not receive the correct order of Assorted Mini Lisianthus Flower, but I was able to work with what I got and easily got a refund for the mistake. The amount of flowers I received was just the right amount, I could pick and chose what I wanted to use for each and didn't feel like I ran out of anything.
For the reception centerpieces I had ordered another box of the Wildflower Wedding DIY Combo Box a few months before the wedding and dried the flowers to give them an antique look.
Overall everything was incredible and easy to work with. People thought I was crazy to try to put these all together the day before the wedding after having put together all the centerpieces and decorations, but I loved having put my personal touch on all the little details.
