I'd been married 3 times, but never really had a wedding. (My mother had one, but that's a different story!)
I LOVE flowers, and they became the theme of the wedding. Beautiful, old fashioned ones, like peonies and garden roses, stock and lily of the valley. I had the wedding I always dreamed of, and married my true soul mate, in my sister's garage, which is pretty much where we met.
I didn't do my own flowers so much as to save money, but because I love them, love arranging them, and wanted complete control over the look. And we were all so happy with the results!!
