A break in the rain gave way to the warm August sunshine that filled our fairy tale wedding day. The fresh salt air was accented with the scent of aromatic ivory roses and sprigs of lavender. The wedding flowers arrived in their tightly wrapped boxes and upon opening them the floral scents filled our home. Assembling the bouquets was quick, easy and fun. I was shocked by how simple it was to create my own wedding flowers and with it came a feeling of great accomplishment. Our wedding day has come and gone but my bouquet and our ceremony roses dried beautifully and placed in a basket where they remain an every day reminder of our seacoast fairy tale wedding.
