Garden Wedding at Historic Home

My daughter wanted a vintage chic garden wedding. Her groom and wedding party wore Navy and her table cloths were Navy and Cranberry even though it was a June wedding.. She loves Peonies and Ranunculus, so I set out to try and make her vision come true for a Summer wedding with non-traditional summer colors. I contacted Fifty Flowers a couple of times for advice on available flowers that fit our color scheme and unfortunately I was unable to speak with a floral consultant even though I requested an appointment via their website. I'm not a professional florist, but I started doing wedding flowers for my own wedding and have done several in the past for family. All the flowers we received were beautiful and I received text messages with specific care instructions....although the color of the Salmon Pink roses were much more pink than the orange hue in the pictures. The Ranunculus were much smaller and more on the yellow side than the pictures...but we used most of them anyway. We were unable to get the Raspberry Burgundy Feather Celosia flowers...but the Red Astilbe flowers we received as a substitute turned out to be the perfect flower. In the end my daughter said all the arrangements were beautiful and everything was just as she envisioned.
